How do you design for the ultimate designer? Avoid all decoration. Our first concept is usually the right concept and our first concept was “put the work on the wall” just like a gallery showing. That’s what 7 Style Guides did when we were asked to design Chip’s wheel catalog. We wanted to show Chips original artwork and wheels in a gallery like setting, large spreads of the amazing sketches, varnish on the product shots, and elegant type treatment. The Designers (Chip) design should shine not mine.

7 Style Guides has begun work on the Sabor Cocina Mexicana brand development and website, there are two restaurants, Woodland Hills and Valencia, the food is unbelievable and the atmosphere is beautiful, everything is hand crafted and imported from Mexico, owners Letti and Mark really pulled out all the stops with the menu and interior, we have a splash page up now saborcocinamexicana.com full site to come soon…We are really looking forward to developing this brand!

Why can’t all sandwich shops be this good? And across the street from the most beautiful beach? Also, they serve Danesi coffee which is impossible to find! What a fun project this was, we love creative license, thanks Chrysler!

Have you been to Gabbi’s Mexican Kitchen in Old Town Orange? If you have you know then you have an idea of how much fun the project was. Spotlighting Gabbi and her line of high quality products was the focus of this website. The brand is really gaining steam with Gabbi’s products going right into Dean and Deluca gourmet stores, Whole Foods, and many other gourmet stores, so refreshing the original site was a must.

In a relatively short career, Chip Foose has created a legacy of designs and accomplishments that are well beyond his years. Chip designs and builds amazing custom cars for private and commercial clientele and celebrities like John Travolta, Tim Allen, Lance Armstrong, Nick Lachey . Documentaries of his work have been produced by both the Discovery Channel and TLC, TLC also produced the hugely successful show Overhaulin’ with Chip as the star of the show. Chip now stars in the Disovery Channel show Ultimate Car Build Off. With the Foose brand licensed for the coolest products (designed by Chip of course) like Oakley, JL Full Throttle Toys, MHT Wheels, BASF, Ford, and many others you can get an idea how Chip is the ultimate designer. Chip and Carson Lev asked 7 Style Guides to Design his personal licensing guide we couldn’t wait to get started. 7 Style Guides was given full creative license to design and develop the licensing guide, direct the photo shoot, and hand produce the final product one at a time, what a graphic design dream job thanks Chip and Carson for letting us be a part of this!
